Free tools that run in your browser

Small, single-purpose tools that go with our guides: a focus timer, a habit tracker, a prompt template builder, a robots.txt generator, and more. Each one runs in your browser and keeps what you enter on your own device.

Why the tools exist

Most of our guides end in a procedure: plan a session, log a habit, write a prompt you can reuse, check a robots.txt file. You can do most of that with pen and paper or a spreadsheet. These tools are for the moments when a small form that does the arithmetic and remembers your last entry saves you a few minutes.

Each tool is a single page with a single job, and each sits under the topic it belongs to, next to the guides that explain the method behind it. Read the guide first if you want the reasoning, or open the tool and start.

Every tool runs entirely in your browser. What you type is processed on your own device and is not sent to our servers. Where a tool remembers your work, it keeps it in your browser’s localStorage, a small storage area that belongs to this website on this device. To remove it, clear the site data for learnhubplay.nl in your browser settings. How we handle your data, further down this page, covers what is saved and how to clear it.

How we handle your data

The short version: the tools keep your entries in your own browser and send nothing to us.

  • What is saved.Only what a tool needs to remember your work, such as your entries and settings. It is written to your browser’s localStorage. The names all begin with lhp., so you can recognise them in your browser’s developer tools.
  • Where it lives. On this device, in the browser you used. It is not synced, and it does not follow you to another browser, browser profile, or computer.
  • What we receive. Nothing from the tools. We never see what you saved, so we also cannot restore it for you.
  • How to remove it. Clear the cookies and site data for learnhubplay.nl in your browser. That deletes everything the tools saved, along with any other data this website stored in that browser. Each vendor documents the steps: Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.

Note: Browser storage is not a backup. A private window discards it when the last private tab is closed (MDN), and a different browser or device starts empty. Safari may also delete a website’s script-written storage, localStorage included, after seven days without you interacting with that site (WebKit). Copy out anything you would miss.
